Bran Muffins
6 cups all-bran 2 cups boiling water 1 quart buttermilk 5 cups flour (un-sifted) 1 cup Crisco (melted) 3 cups sugar 2 teaspoons salt 4 eggs (unbeaten) 5 teaspoons baking soda In a large bowl, mix 2 cups all-bran with boiling water, shortening, sugar, eggs, and milk.
