1 cup water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
2 cups chopped fresh broccoli
2 tablespoons dried minced onion
¼ teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon pepper
½ cup milk
2 teaspoons butter or margarine
In a saucepan, bring water and bouillon to a boil.
Add broccoli, onion, salt, and pepper.
Reduce heat; simmer for 5-7 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
Let cool for 10 minutes.
Pour into a blender; cover and process until smooth.
Return to pan; add milk and heat through.
Top each serving with a teaspoon of butter.
